Royal Room 1, 16th May - 20th May. After 2 years away because of covid this was our first time back.The Room was lovely and staff friendly. The big disappointment was the food.Example, the haddock at breakfast was the tail end and very small and no depth. The evening meal when we had fish and chips was frankly the worst I have ever had. It was mostly hard batter and thin dried fish.The roast dinners lacked flavour and the gravy was like water. Very poor. Very different from when we last came when food was outstanding. It has put us off coming again
